Shibu has a lot of feelings. And he loves expressing them with his tail: he hugs with it, hides behind it, and when he's angry, its hair stands on end. But at some point Shibu starts keeping his feelings to himself, just like everyone else — better not stand out! But is that really a good idea? A funny and wonderfully heartfelt picture book about the many small and big emotions that find their way out — whether we want them to or not. And a beautiful invitation to reflect together on how much feeling might be too much — or too little.

American author Tess Thomas lives in Hoboken, New Jersey. As early as the age of four, she was already inventing stories about her imaginary friends—Sami the cat and Doodie the dog.

Kamwei Fong is a Malaysian artist. His series The Furry Thing, which he began in 2009, brought him international recognition, with exhibitions at the Salon des Beaux-Arts in Paris as well as solo shows in France, Taiwan, South Korea, the United States, and Japan.
