Christl Mudrak's first monographic publication takes a closer look at her artistic work of the last two decades. The book is both a search for traces and a tracker of an artistic practice that contradicts the simplifying patterns of art historiography and makes institutional appropriation difficult. In addition to creating experiential spaces and participatory-performative painting, her work focuses on exploring the potential of collaborative work in a deep understanding of the equality of humans, animals and nature. Through this monograph, Mudrak's often ephemeral art is not only made visible, but can be experienced again and again.
