This publication shows more than 150 of Gunter Rambow's works, most of them posters for public and private clients, samples for book and magazine design and teaching projects with his students at the Gesamthochschule Kassel.
Gunter Rambow ranks among the leading international graphic designers. His treacherously witty theater and museum posters have played an important role in the last few decades during Frankfurt's tremendous cultural boom. This book features over 150 works, mainly posters for public and private clients, then examples of design for books, magazines and apprenticeship projects which Gunter Rambow carried out with his students in 1979 and 1986 at the Gesamthochschule Kassel. It also contains extracts from the project work "Television Design" for the broadcasting corporation Hessische Rundfunk of 1991. The artist: Gunter Rambow, born 1938 in Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg. Lives and works in Frankfurt am Main. Numerous awards, including the 1992 Design Award of the International Center of Photography. Since 1974 teaching post for visual communication at the Gesamthochschule Kassel. Since 1992 has been teaching at the Academy for Design in Karlsruhe.
