The Prix Pictet is the world's leading award recognizing excellence in photography with a focus on sustainability. Initiated in 2008 by the Pictet Group, the award was established to leverage the power of photographic storytelling in spotlighting urgent environmental challenges. Since its inception, eleven editions have taken place—each centered around a distinct sustainability-related theme. Every cycle is accompanied by a publication that features the work of shortlisted photographers, alongside compelling images from a broader group of nominated artists.
