Michael Morgner (*1942) is one of the most important contemporary artists. His work is characterized by an unmistakable signature and stems from his intensive examination of the existential questions of being human as well as the political and social challenges of his time. This volume documents all of his works on paper for the first time - a foundation on which central work complexes, recurring motifs and characteristic figure types are based.
