Anyone who has experienced one of his performances on stage or his interventions in public space will not forget it: colorfully masked performers move through the city as a troupe and, on a secret command, pile up and interlock their bodies in building entrances, in staircases or on park benches, while the audience follows in amazement. Having founded his company in Vienna in 1999, artist and choreographer Willi Dorner’s carefully designed interventions enhance our perception and critical sense of everyday life.
