The world of big and small feelings
A picturebook about our shadow selves. "Like most of us, Lika doesn't give much thought to her shadow. Until the day it begins acting strangely. Lika tries to run and hide, but the more she hides the bigger Shadow becomes, until it picks her up and deposits her in a magical land where the shadows dance. Lika must learn to look at her shadow to find her way back. This is a book by the acclaimed author of 'The Grand Hotel of Feelings' about accepting the parts of us that we try to hide from... and recognising that where there is darkness, there is also light."

Lidia Branković (*1997, Berlin) graduated in Visual Communication from the FH Potsdam in 2022. Inspired by her hometown Berlin, she develops and draws her stories with whimsical charm. Her first book Das Grand Hotel der Gefühle has been published in its 4th edition.
