The volume presents remarkable works by internationally renowned artists and provides insight into the private collection of the Frankfurt-based couple von Kelterborn for the first time. They are convinced that art can make “the present” palpable and allow it to be experienced in its complexity and its contradictions as well as in its positive potential. The collection von Kelterborn therefore focuses on works that make reference to social, philosophically subtle, and politically explosive issues. Special emphasis is placed on photographs and videos. Conceptual Art and neon sculptures that work with language and texts can also be found in this one-of-a-kind collection.
